Roles, Performance and Contributions of Vietnamese Women Representatives during the 2016-2021 period

The thematic research “Roles, Performance and Contributions of Vietnamese Women Representatives during the 2016-2021 period” was conducted by The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), Vietnam National University in Hanoi, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Viet Nam, the National Assembly Standing Committee’s Committee on Delegates’ Affairs and collaborating partners. Based on qualitative and quantitative research data, the research findings aim to (1) highlight the roles, performance and contributions women representatives at the National Assembly and Provincial People’s Councils; and to (2) suggest policy responses and actions to promote gender equity in elected bodies in Viet Nam during the 2021-2026 period and towards 2030.
